George was amazing. From beginning to end. Prices were very reasonable. His timeline was dead on! From the time we agreed to a type of countertop and sink we wanted until installed, He kept us updated. George really cares and wants you to be happy with what you buy from him. He takes the time to do it right. He is friendly, honest, and helpful. We were happy to find someone like George. If your looking for countertops or anything else I would recommend JD Touch.

This review is long over due but hopefully worth the wait. We couldn’t be more passionate about this company, George, and the incredible job done on our kitchen granite!

Our request was a bit unconventional; we had all the granite in a handful of pieces already and needed help cutting, joining and polishing edges. We wanted to have this done at our home because we had limited pieces, they fit our counter space only one way (sides weren’t same length/depth), and were afraid if done in a shop there would be a high chance for a mis-cut, and we’d be SOL.

A handful of companies seemed confused and didn’t like that we wouldn’t be purchasing the material through them. Most also refused to do it outside of the shop, given the dust and lack of transferable equipment. George, however, although weary of the dust as well, came to the house to check everything out and agreed to do it at our home with my husband’s help.

Just the two of them, we bought the appropriate masks/filters they spent every bit of 12 hours working their tails off. George was extremely focused on quality, emphasizing the importance he places on the details, down to matching the filler color as close to the granite as possible. This is a man with incredible work ethic, and appreciation for kind people. He was grateful for my husband’s help for the duration of the project.

We couldn’t be happier with how our kitchen turned out and can’t recommend George enough! He will definitely be our go-to guy for our future home needs. We sincerely appreciated his genuineness and commitment.

After searching the internet for granite companies covering my suburb in yelp I found Chicago Granite Company. I sent an inquiry from the website and quickly received an email from George with the estimate of pricing based on the square footage I provided. The pricing was better than I expected. Following this I went to one of the two warehouses that they work with to pick out the granite (many options, much more than listed online, so I really enjoyed the experience of picking out the granite). Following narrowing down my options, we had Robert and George come for measurements. Following the measurements the granite was installed 2 weeks following within the 2 hour time frame provided.

During this entire period we were in contact via email or text. The granite was cut to perfection and looks amazing. We really could not be happier with the results and we would recommend Chicago Granite Company anyone looking for a granite install.

Every home improvement project should go this well! I had been planning a kitchen remodel for nearly 6 months & shopped around for EVERYTHING. If you’re looking for granite countertops, look no further!

George & I communicated via email for months as I coordinated the other elements of my kitchen. He educated me on the process & was very patient as I planned the project. When it came time to start, George scheduled my kitchen for measuring the very next day & my countertop was installed 2 weeks later & in under 2 hours!

As for price, you won’t find a better one out there. And quality? I couldn’t ask for more! The rest of my kitchen is still under construction, but at least my countertops are in & look phenomenal!

I had a great experience with Robert and George. They came to my home to give me an estimate at a time that was convenient for me, which I couldn’t get anyone else to do. Price was great and my counters look terrific. Couldn’t be happier.

My wife and I decided to venture down the path of building our own kitchen cabinets, because we thought it would be fun interesting and exciting. It is all of that and more however when it came time to install granite tops we ran into a new beast that we were not prepared for.

We were very fortunate to find these guys at Chicago Granite Company and what a pleasure to work with, I wish all contracting firms are so pedantic, courteous and literally held our hands every step of the way.

We are so pleased with the end product that we had them replace the countertop in our condo downtown. I promise you when the other condos need countertops there is only one firm that I will call.

I am not sure if you ever had to deal with condo associations in the city with all their rules and regulations. These guys are on top of their game and the grumpy association board of directors was no match. They met all the requirements including licenses and insurances that the grumpy board have conjured up over the years.

I want to give them 5 stars, but I am afraid Yelp will filter my review as they have been known to do this. I really hope Yelp has moved away from their extortionist mannerism

I love my new countertops! George and his partner did an amazing job. Not to mention, the quote they gave me was the best I received. George is very responsive and was able to answer all the questions I had, and made me feel very comfortable, especially since I am a first time home owner. Thanks George!!
